Our Tenets of Faith
That the bible is the word of God, not that it merely contains the word of God.
That GOD is a person who created all things; he personally formed the World and each creature therein. All other creation accounts are false.
That God created man in his image and likeness in one day, fully matured, highly intelligent, not that he descended from molecules through the lower forms of life to monkey and man.
That all angels and spirit beings were created by God, fully matured and intelligent.
That God created man, animals, fish, fowls, and plants to reproduce themselves after their own kind. (Gen 1: 20-31).
That Man is a sinner fallen from original righteousness and a highly intelligent and responsible place as the head of the present creation. (Romans 3:23-25).
That Man is justified by faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ resulting in supernatural regeneration from above. (Romans 5:1-2).
That Man, animals, and plant life have degenerated and are under a curse. Man chooses to continue in sin, sickness, and sufferings of the earth and only through redemption in Christ will the whole creation be restored to original perfection and goodness.
That all men who accept Christ and conform to God’s plan for man WILL BE SAVED, WILL BE RESSURECTED from the dead to immortality AND WILL HELP GOD administer the affairs of the universe forever.
That all men who reject Christ and do not conform to the plan of God for man will pay the eternal death penalty for sin; will be resurrected to immortality, and WILL BE PUNISHED ETERNALLY IN THE LAKE OF FIRE.
That Jesus Christ is THE son of God in a sense no other man is – The only begotten of the Father.
That the trinity is God the Father, God the Son and The Holy Spirit; they are three different entities that make up one God head.
That the church is the body of Christ whose task it is to take the gospel to all people in all nations and make disciples of them.
The church consists of all persons who have become new creations through their faith in Jesus Christ, who is the Head of the church.
- In the ordinances of the church which are the Lord’s Supper and baptism by total immersion in water.
- In divine healing as has been provided for by the death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. All believers can claim the promise of divine healing by personal faith in Jesus Christ.
- In the consummation of all things, initiated by the imminent physical return of Jesus Christ to receive His church, the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the one to eternal life and the other to eternal damnation, and the establishment of God’s Kingdom forever.
